CHANGE IN MATTER
The change in matter divided into two kinds:
1. Physical changes, and
2. Chemical changes
Physical changes: the changes in matters which doesn’t lead to the formation of new substances.
The property of physical changes:
1. Reversible
2. Wasn’t followed by formation another kind of matters
3. Involve energy
4. Don’t product different substance
5. Only change it’s state of matter but not it’s type and identity

Chemical Changes : chemical change is the change of matter followed by the formation of another matter
The property of chemical changes:
1. Irreversible
2. Followed by formation another kind of matters
3. Involve heat and energy
4. Change of matter and also it’s type and identity
5. Product different substance
Example:
a) Wood burnt will become charcoal and ash
b) The change of cassava to be “tape” (Cassava or glutinous rice fermented)
c) The change of soybean to be “tempe” (Soybean fermented)
